Hello and Welcome!

My name is Baur Safi.

I am a data scientist and a financial professional. As a fresh General Assembly Data Science Immersive graduate I learned statistics, linear algebra, SQL and Python. I learned to apply libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Scikit Learn for data analysis and machine learning. As a financial professional, I did financial analytics, evaluations, modeling, and cost analysis.

A Short Bio

I was born and raised in Kazakhstan, a country of vast steppes, cold winters, the motherland of apples. Since the age of 14, I studied math and physics and later did my bachelor's in physics. Since the Soviet Union collapsed, I retrained to become an English-Russian interpreter and later did Master's in Business Administration.

Below there are six projects that represent my current portfolio. Each project is an html version of the Jupyter Notebook that has links to a corresponding github repository with original code and data.
